Cute As A Button … Earrings

Why buy new earrings when you can DIY your own?

With a few simple “ingredients” and your imagination, you can create the perfect accessory for any outfit or something just for fun! Plus, this easy craft project is perfect for all the makers in your home.

What You Need:

• Needle Nose Pliers
• Jump Rings
• Ear Wire
• Buttons of your choice
• Charms and/or Beads (optional)

What You Do:

Step 1: Split open your jump ring with your pliers.

Step 2: Loop in your button(s). Make sure the jump ring is large enough to fit through the holes of your buttons, as well as around the outside. We used an 8mm jump ring for this earring.

Continue attaching your buttons with the jump rings until you are satisfied.

Step 3: Once your earring is done, attach ear wire to the top of the design and secure with a jump ring.

Final Product: Add charms or beads for extra flair! Experiment with different styles! The possibilities are endless!
