**Finished Measurements:** Approx. 14cm x 52cm (5.5” x 20.5”) not including handles.

Materials Needed:

*NOTE: When selecting yarn, make sure that it is a suitable material safe to use on skin.
>> Two balls of #4 medium weight, Dishcloth or textured yarn
>> 5.5mm crochet hook

Abbreviations:

CH = chain
DC = double crochet
FPDC = front post double crochet
SL ST = slip stitch
ST(S) = stitch(es)

Instructions:

How to FPDC (front post double crochet):
*You are making a DC through the post of the indicated ST
Yarn over, working towards the back, insert hook in between the post of current ST and the next indicated ST, and then around post, back towards the front. Yarn over, pull through (3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through 2 loops (2 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through 2 loops (1 loop remains on hook).

Ch22

Row 1: DC in 4^th CH from the hook (the 3 skipped CH counts as the 1^st DC), DC in each CH to the end of row. Turn. (20 sts including 1^st CH)

Row 2 – 46: CH3 (counts as the 1^st DC), FPDC around each DC, DC in the top of turning CH. Turn.

First Handle: CH 20, skip 19 STS, SL ST in last ST, turn. SC in each CH to the end of row, SL ST in last ST. Fasten off.

Second Handle: On the other end, join yarn with a SL ST in the 1^st ST of Row 1. Same as the 1^st handle, CH 20 and SL ST in the last ST of Row 1, turn. SC in each CH to the end of row, SL ST in last ST at the joining SL ST. Fasten off.

Finishing: Weave in all ends.
