Macrame Cellphone Holder DIY

What You Need:
– Macrame Cord
– Tape Measure
– Scissors
– Fabri-Tac (or your favourite fabric adhesive)

STEP 1
Cut 3 pieces of 60” cord. Braid pieces together leaving 2” of loose ends.

STEP 2
Cut a new piece of cord measuring 8” (or the perimeter of your cellphone). Tie ends to form a circle. Knot both ends of braided strap to the circle.

STEP 3
Cut 24 pieces x 50” of cord. Attach each piece to circle piece with Lark’s Head knots. Distribute cords evenly between both sides of the straps.

STEP 4
Create the body of the bag using the Square Knot method.

STEP 5
Create enough Square Knot rows to fit the length of your phone (approx. 21 rows). Finish the bag by double-knotting the cords along the bottom of the bag.

STEP 6
Trim tassels to desired length. Seal edges of all cord with Fabri-Tac to prevent fraying.
