Whether you’re working from your home office or back to all things corporate, take your comfort to the next level with our stylish Suede Ballet Slipper DIY. Make your new slippers to match your outfit (even if that’s pajama pants, we won’t tell) or stand out with bright colours & fun prints!

What you need:

  • Measuring Tape
  • Quilting Pins
  • Craft Scissors
  • Hand Sewing Needle
  • Black Thread
  • 12″ (30 cm) Chenille Fabric
  • 1 Package of Suede Slipper Soles
  • 1 Spool of Embroidery Floss

What you do:

Step 1: Fold fabric in half. Place pattern pieces on fold. Cut out.

Tip: Be mindful of fabric print if you want something specific to show on your creation.

Step 2: Pin and sew the front slipper piece to the back slipper piece.

Step 3: Baste stitch and gather the front piece between dots.

Step 4: Attach fabric to suede slipper soles by weaving embroidery floss though pre-cut holes in soles.

Step 5: Hem the top of the slipper 0.4” (1cm) to finish.

You now have some very cozy slippers to wear!
