Be inspired by beautiful fall flowers, fruits and vegetables and the changing colours of the season AND use your quilting skills to make this quilted Thanksgiving tablerunner. The autumn theme will not only enhance your table decor, but will also add a welcoming look for the entire season.

What you need:

  • Fabric A – 40cm
  • Fabric B – 20cm
  • Fabric C – 50cm (includes binding)
  • Fabric D – 30cm
  • Backing – 1.8m (or 1m if pieced)

Instructions:

Cut pieces as follows:
Fabric A cut 4 (4 1/2 x 4 1/2” ) squares
Fabric B cut 4 (3 x 4 1/2”) and 4 (3 x 7”) strips
Fabric C cut 4 (3 x 7”) and 4 (3 x 9 1/2”) strips
Fabric D cut 4 (3 x 9 1/2”) and 4 (3 x 12”) strips

Measure finished block size and add 5/8”. Cut 3 squares Fabric A to that measurement and cut each square in half diagonally point to point. Place as photo and sew allowing the points to extend beyond the block.

Arrange pieces as shown and sew pieces together.

To finish:

Using basting spray, layer top, batting and backing. Quilt as desired, trim excess and bind edges.

Looking for something to help decorate your home for autumn? Want to be creative and get the kids involved? This Felt Harvest Wreath is the perfect no-sew project!

SUPPLIES
• Wreath Ring
• Felt
• Fabric Of Your Choice
• Trim or Ribbon
• Scissors
• Fabric Glue

Step 1:
Cut out your leaves using the template provided or create your own!

Step 2:
For leaf shape #4 (see template), put a dab of glue on one end and pinch together until secure. This will give the leaf a more 3D effect.

Step 3:
Cut strips of fabric and wrap around your wreath frame. Secure with glue.

Step 4:
Wrap decorative ribbon or trim over the fabric. Secure with glue.

Step 5:
Layer leaves on top of the fabric and glue in place.

TIP: Use pins to map out placement of leaves before securing with glue.
