DIY Kitty Kase

Little (and big) kids will love this adorable and easy to make case to hold all sorts of things. Pens, pencils and markers are safely stowed, but the kitty kase is a purrfect travel size for little toys, cords and chargers, makeup and more…

What you need:

  • .25m wool or wool blend
  • 1 x 6″ (15cm) zipper
  • embroidery floss
  • seam allowance = 1cm

What you do:

Download and print pattern. With right sides together, cut 2 pattern pieces then cut along the zipper placement line on one of the pieces for the front. Mark eyes and nose placement.

Embroider eyes, nose and whiskers if wanted. OPTION: use buttons and/or beads and sew or glue on eyes and nose embellishments instead of embroidery for your own special look.

Using your zipper foot, stitch the zipper along the zipper line as shown and topstitch in place.

Open the zipper halfway and pin front to back right sides together. Sew all the way around. Clip corners and curves and turn right side out through the zipper opening.
